When Topps inserted ten rookie redemption cards into packs of 2007 Finest Baseball, it was a pretty safe bet one of them was going to be good for a rookie card of Japanese sensation Daisuke "Dice-K" Matsuzaka. But as the first few redemptions were announced and the numbers started to dwindle, the question remained: which one?
The speculation came to an end this week, as Topps announced that Matsuzaka's number would be Redemption # 5. Collectors have until August 15 to send in their redemption cards.
