Seven is the Winning Number for Superlative Hockey
I really like the campaign In The Game put together to promote its new brand, Superlative Hockey. The company focused on seven reasons collectors should get excited for the new product, then released them one at a time to build some anticipation. It was something a little different to call attention to the brand, and in my mind, that's always welcome.
To recap, here were the first six reasons:
- All autographs are hard-signed
- No redemption cards
- All memorabilia is game-used
- Many 1-of-1's
- Over 100 different cut signatures
- Authentic game-used jersey letter cards
If you like hockey cards, that's a pretty enticing list. In The Game released the seventh reason Thursday: each pack of Superlative Hockey will contain seven cards from seven different autographed or game-used insert sets.
Those seven cards will include one autograph, one game-used jersey card, one game-used patch card, one Superlative Prospect autographed memorabilia card, another autographed memorabilia card, one Famous Fabrics game-used card and what the company calls a Special Insert card, a category that includes multi-swatch cards, jumbo patch cards, cut signatures and game-used jersey letter cards.
Superlative Hockey is set to drop on April 30, and you can get more information and take a look at a bunch of the different insert cards at In The Game's website.
