When the Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals meet in Tampa for Super Bowl XLIII, football card manufacturers will be ready.
As they always do, the card companies have some special cards in store for anyone who can make it down to Raymond James Stadium either this weekend or the weekend of the big game itself. That's when the Super Bowl Experience featuring the Donruss Super Bowl XLIII Card Show will be taking place.
Both Donruss and Upper Deck recently announced plans for wrapper redemption programs at the show, as well as special sets of cards featuring players from this season's conference champions (like the Troy Polamalu card you see here), the host Tampa Bay Buccaneers and some of the top 2008 NFL rookies. If you're like me and will be watching the Super Bowl from home, make sure you keep an eye on the secondary market over the next few weeks for chances to pick up some of these cards after all the hype has died down.
