Box Toppers
Every hobby box of Turkey Red Baseball comes with a box topper pack containing an oversized, 5.75" x 8" card. That's because each Turkey Red Cabinet card is the same size as the original Cabinet cards that inspired them. The large cards really give the Perez paintings a chance to shine, and as an added bonus, there are even autographed versions signed by the artist himself.

The Last Word
Topps just seems to have a knack for doing retro-themed sets, and while the company could have rested on its laurels when it came to Turkey Red, the Perez paintings make for a worthwhile addition and help the brand feel fresh even in its third outing. Long-time collectors will think back fondly to the artist's work on cards like Donruss' Diamond Kings, while newer hobbyists will see their favorite players in a colorful new light.
The other elements of the set may not have quite as much depth as those found in its similarly-themed cousin, Allen & Ginter, but the time-tested lineup of relics, autographs, variations and Chrome cards really only need to be supporting players here. 2007 Turkey Red Baseball feels like another throwback hit for Topps.
