Collectors looking to put together the entire 2008 Topps Allen and Ginter base set will once again have a little added challenge on their hands. Just as in previous years, Topps has made 50 of the base cards short prints found at the rate of 1:2 packs. They are easier to identify in 2008, as they are the final 50 cards in the 350-card set.
Some of the autographs and relic cards are also short prints relative to other similar cards. Though all of the cards are unnumbered, Topps has released print runs for some of the more scarce signatures and memorabilia cards for 2008. As an added twist, some autographed cards can be found in red ink variations that are limited to 10 copies each.
