The Last Word
This season's DPP Football definitely has some things going for it, most notably a generous helping of rookie cards and an autograph program that includes all the big names. The lack of draft information is a little frustrating though, and the memorabilia cards and the basic design didn't do much for me this year.
No doubt the excitement of the first Topps-branded rookie cards will be enough to get DPP past its shortcomings. It's solid enough to be worth a look, especially at a time of year when there aren't many alternatives on the shelf.
