Upper Deck Football is an annual hit with collectors, and the 2007 set is another example of how football cards don't need to be expensive to be fun. The simple design really shows off the superb photography, and the Star Rookies should be some of the more popular affordable rookie cards in the hobby once again. As long as you think of the memorabilia cards and autographs as a little bonus instead of the main draw, they're fine elements as well.
It will be a matter of personal preference as far as the larger but more expensive packs go ($5.99 suggested retail as opposed to $3.99 last season), but the box price should be just about the same. That makes 2007 Upper Deck Football an excellent value and a welcome addition to this season's football card lineup.
