Raw

From Nick Tylwalk, for About.com

Definition: A raw sports card is one that has not been graded or sealed in any type of permanent holder. Especially valuable or scarce cards are rarely sold in their raw forms, as the prices they can bring are much higher once they have been graded by a reputable third party.
Examples: Michael Jordan rookie cards sell for plenty of money raw, but even more if they're graded.
