Definition: A top loader is a plastic holder used to protect a single card from bending, tearing, edge and corner damage. So named because it allows the card to be slid in from the top, it is usually used in combination with a soft sleeve.
Examples: Penny sleeves are good, but you need a top loader to prevent your cards from getting creased.
