Card Company Redemption Programs and Show Exclusives:
Upper Deck
The wrapper redemption program at the Upper Deck is pretty simple: bring any five packs ($2.99 retail price or above) of 2008 baseball, 2008 football, 2007-08 basketball or 2007-08 hockey cards from Upper Deck or Fleer to the booth and receive a special pack of six cards exclusive to The National. Single and triple autograph cards are randomly inserted and include athletes like LeBron James, Sidney Crosby, Peyton manning and Derek Jeter.
Other giveaways at the booth will be centered on Michael Jordan, in anticipation of his Hall of Fame induction in 2009. Upper Deck will also be giving away free packs of cards to kids 15 and under and raffling off All-Star Vinyl figures.
Donruss Playoff
Special two-card packs featuring exclusive versions of 2008 Donruss Elite rookie cards and Donruss Americana II cards will be the draw at the Donruss Playoff booth. Anyone opening five packs of 2008 Donruss Playoff hobby product or a box of 2008 Donruss Playoff retail product will receive one pack.
Twenty different Elite rookies (numbered to 499 with lower-numbered parallels) and 17 different Americana cards (numbered to 25) are up for grabs. Randomly inserted autographed versions can also be found.
Press Pass
Football collectors can open a mini-box of 2008 Press Pass Legends Football at the company booth to receive one exclusive red foil parallel numbered to five. Many former stars and 2008 rookies are available - all pictured in their college uniforms - and random packs will feature a Saturday Signatures card instead of the parallel.
Fans of Press Pass racing fans can take part in another program by opening a box of any 2008 Press Pass racing cards bought from a dealer at The National. Doing so at the booth will get them an autograph or dual memorabilia card from a list of drivers that includes Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jimmie Johnson and Tony Stewart.
